Welcome to Basildon Choral!

Messiah a great success!                          _DSC0262v2

Our performance of Messiah on Saturday 20th November last autumn was hailed a great success by several in the audience. “We were surprised at the standard of the Messiah. We were not expecting it to be so good! (apologies for that!). It was as good as anything you would get in London!”.  Another said “it was awesome, congratulations to all those involved.  Your concerts have never disappointed.”

Our cafe-style concert of light music on 19th February this year was also a greeted by many with delight for the music, the performance and the food!   You can hear and see us in action here!  Since then we have sung the Faure and Rutter Requiems at Easter. Singing together is such a marvellous, healthy experience. Why not be a part of this?

We practice on Wednesday evenings at 7.45pm at Trinity Methodist Church, Clay Hill Road, Basildon, SS16 4NN.

If you would like to join us please email baschoral@gmail so that we can welcome you!

We are a growing choir of long standing with an excellent reputation. We sing five concerts a year – a family carol concert, café style light music, a ‘Come and Sing’ and large scale choral works with orchestra, using professional musicians and soloists. We also enjoy singing tours abroad and fun events throughout the year.

If you’re not sure Basildon Choral is for you, have a look at this and this, read about the experience of two of our singers here, and listen to one of our recordings.
